The purpose of Life - Featured image

Purpose of Life

What is the main purpose of a person’s life?

Everyone seems to know the answer.
Yet everyone struggles.

We chase what appears obvious:

Money.
Recognition.
Success.

And after reaching them,
There is still more to be done.

A quiet emptiness remains.

Perhaps the purpose of life is easier to discover
by seeing what it is not.

It is not what leaves you restless.
Not what makes you drag yourself through each day.
Not what turns life into endless preparation for tomorrow.

So why do we keep chasing?

Because we are afraid.
Afraid of life’s uncertainties.

Afraid of losing our jobs.
Afraid for our relationships.
Afraid of how others see us.

We call these pursuits meaningful.
But often they are escape.

When you see all this clearly,
something changes.

You move:
From being acceptable to being authentic.
From performing to being present.
From reacting out of fear to responding to life as it unfolds.

We spend our lives asking,
“What is my purpose?”

Perhaps the question itself is the distraction.

When there is no purpose to fulfill,
there is living.

Being authentic. Being responsive. Being present.

None of these come from effort.
They emerge when the mind is no longer trapped in fear, conflict, and illusion.
